The Emmylou experience - a magical step back in time!

Cruise aboard PS Emmylou, the only wood-fired paddlesteamer in the world offering regular overnight cruising. Fuelled by redgum logs the paddlesteamer exudes old-world charm whilst offering modern convenience.

A range of one, two and three night cruises are scheduled during the year, see Calendar below for dates.
 
In addition to these dates others are available subject to demand. As an alternative PS Emmylou can be chartered by groups at very reasonable rates and we would then tailer the route, duration, menu and other services to the groups' needs.

Staying aboard the PS Emmylou

Elegance and style are the order of the day when it comes to catering for your stay onboard the Paddlesteamer Emmylou. Three carefully prepared meals a day whilst aboard, each of these a potpourri of taste, texture and colour. Top local wines, plus a range of alternatives from the fully stocked licensed bar. All this served to your table on the outer deck while you enjoy a glowing rose and gold sunset, listen to the river birds' evening chorus, then linger over dessert and coffee to watch the stars appear.

Eighteen overnight passengers are comfortably accommodated in two berth cabins featuring traditional riverboat style bunks with the exception of one double bed cabin. Linen and towels are provided and there are showers and toilets on both decks. Everything in fact for your comfort and convenience be it for business or pleasure.

P.S. Emmylou is ideal for specific interest groups, a relaxing holiday, conferences, business conventions, weddings and group charters.

The Emmylou provides sun decks, a dining and bar area, a galley and a front lounge.
